WWI Identification Tags, Ethel Gray

These World War I Identification or Dog Tags were worn by Reconstruction Aide, Ethel Gray, during her service in France. They indicate her name, that she was serving at Base Hospital No. 114, and are stamped "U.S.A." The World War I tag design was round, rather than the modern design that has been used since WWII.
