Letter from Staff Sgt. Gregg Wright to Cpl. Ruth Jefferson

Gregg Wright and Ruth Jefferson met while serving together at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After his assignment overseas they stayed in contact. His letter mentions Jefferson's furlough home, but also has a fortuitous line which reads "This letter is short, I hope you like it, it may help you keep your morale high," well before the creation of the 6888 motto, No Mail, Low Morale.
