Two photos clipped from a publication show Servicemembers enjoying food. One reads "Reputation for the best post mess goes to the WAC cooks. The gals thrive on it and ar alarmed at increasing waistlines. All this and tablecloths." The other caption reads, "Another glimpse of EM night at the officers club as GIs cluster around the shiny-topped bar and dream of Joe's Joint at home. Sorry - only soft drinks, but that doesn't detract from the general GI good times."
