WAAC Buzzard button worn by Lt. Col. Charity Adams

During the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, before enlistment in the Army, women wore an eagle modified from the original Army design, colloquially known as the WAAC Buzzard, on their cap brass and buttons, rather than the more recognized Army Eagle.
