Anticipating a Transfer
Leona lets Maxine know that the 1202d will be deactivated and there was a poll taken over whether the WACs would go home or consider reassignment. Leona writes that "I don't much care to get back until the war ends." She says that the Army has prepared her for a better job in peacetime and shares a little about the LTC she works under.
