WACs at Memorial Service

Five WACs of the Air Transport Command's European Division in London, kneel in prayer before an altar at memorial services honoring 18 other members of the WAC with whom they formerly worked and who were reported lost on an Army transport plane on a flight from Accra, British West Africa, to Roberts Field, Liberia. Attended by more than 60 WACs, the service was held in London. Pictured, left to right are: Sgt Maye B.
