This is the OH of COL Elizabeth Smith that was done in 1996 by Anne Smith. It covers the time periods 1951-1974. Col Smith was a lawyer when she joined the army in 1951 because of the Korean War. 1st assign. as supply off, XO then CO at company, Ft Eustis, VA. Later to Germany in supply but Milligan found her a job with SJA doing legal work. Other assignments: CO company B at WAC TRG BN, Ft McClellan, Dep Dir Academic Dpt at JAG School, AG Off in Washington, SJA for Recruiting CMD, Hampton, VA for 12 years, became Legal Council; discussed problems confronted with during Vietnam War.
