From collection Peggy Greenwalt Walcher, Army Nurse
An Impromptu Dance (4)
In her notes, Peggy Greenwalt writes, "After Bataan had surrendered, some enlisted men got out their musical instruments and asked Maj. Kriwanek (Quartermaster) to get some of the nurses to come and dance. The major and Peggy Greenwalt are pictured dancing. Picture was taken by someone in the Signal Corps. Triple bunks had been pushed away on one side."
